Warning Signs For Type Two Diabetes

!±8± Warning Signs For Type Two Diabetes

Type 2 Diabetes is a sign of the times it seems. Today's society is the perfect breeding ground for type 2 diabetes. Busy, stressful schedules that leave little time for exercise, latch key children and teenagers who spend hours in front of the television or computer, combined with the availability of convenient yet deadly fast food has paved the way for America's self destruction.

Are you at risk for Type 2 Diabetes? Symptoms may develop slowly and creep upon us unnoticed. As with any health problems, it's best to catch this deadly disease as early as possible.

Here's a list of 5 warning signs:

Are you constantly tired or have extreme energy crashes during the day? - Spikes and crashes in blood sugar can cause extreme fatigue. The truth is, no one should have to experience that "after lunch tiredness" although many people talk about it as if it is common and acceptable. A properly functioning body that receives the right kind of fuel can keep going at a steady pace throughout the day. That after lunch tired feeling may not be type 2 diabetes, but it is a warning sign that you are not eating properly and your body is not running the way it should. Does your vision ever become blurred? - The medical explanation for blurred vision with type 2 diabetes is because during blood sugar spikes necessary fluid is sometimes pulled from the lenses of your eyes. This can impair your ability to focus. Do you find yourself extra thirsty? When sugar builds up in your blood stream, fluid is needed, so your body will pull it from your tissues and cause you to be extra thirsty. Do you have intense cravings for starchy foods or bread products? If your body doesn't have enough insulin to transfer sugar into your cells for fuel, your body will send hunger signals to your brain even though you may have recently eaten. Your body naturally does all it can to survive, so it will trigger hunger because it is unable to use the supply already in your body. Do you have sores that take exceptionally long to heal or frequently become infected? Non-healing sores are one of the most common signs of diabetes.

If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, you should see your physician immediately. If you are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, there is still hope. You don't have to live with this condition. At the Center for Type 2 Diabetes, we provide a solid plan of action intended to reverse and break you completely free from type 2 diabetes. Regardless of what stage of diabetes you are in, whether newly diagnosed or managing the disease for several years, we have the answers you are looking for.

General Guide When Replacing a Fuel Pump on a Chevy Pick-Up

!±8± General Guide When Replacing a Fuel Pump on a Chevy Pick-Up

One of the most common problems that you will likely encounter with Chevy pickups is fuel pump malfunctions. Over time, you will begin to notice a dramatic decrease on the truck's fuel mileage and engine performance. If that is the case, replacing the fuel pump might be necessary. With a little know-how and basic knowledge on automotives, you can easily accomplish the task.

If your fuel pump is not working efficiently, then you cannot expect your vehicle to run well. Every vehicle engine operates by using a mechanical pump or a fuel-injected pump which draws gas from the fuel tank and delivers it to the carburetor or fuel injector. Most modern engines use a fuel injected pump to transfer fuel at a high pressure via an electric pump into the fuel-injection system. If your engine is quite old it may use a mechanical pump to feed gas from the fuel tank to your carburetor.

To help you fix the problem, here is a detailed guide on how to properly replace a Chevy truck's fuel pump.

Step one: Prepare the needed materials which will include the siphoning kit, transmission jack, locking pliers, new fuel pump module, needle-nose tool, gas can, screw driver, jack stands and wrench.

Step two: After gathering the materials, begin relieving the pressure on the truck's fuel system. Do this by disconnecting the fuel box relay on the fuel box. After which, you have to start the engine and allow it to run until it stalls. Then, remove the negative battery cable and use the siphon kit to get the fuel out of the tank.

Step three: Once all the fuel has been drained, pull out the fuel tank. With the help of the jack stand, raise the truck on the desired height. Then, remove the tank's shield covering as well as the EVAP canister. And make sure to disconnect all the fuel supply lines.

Step four: Next, release the ring's locking tab with the use of locking pliers. Slightly tilt the old fuel pump module and then slowly pull it out from the tank.

Step five: Clean the fuel tank's surface with a lacquer thinner or acetone before placing the new fuel pump module. Properly return all the connections that you have disconnected and then re-pressurize the fuel system, reconnect the relay battery line and then turn the engine on for two seconds and then off for five seconds. Repeat this for ten times until the engine become used to the new fuel system pump.

Read and understand this useful guideline by heart so you'll know how to appropriately replace fuel pumps on Chevy pickups.
